Arbitration is agreed to by the parties to achieve a more timely, cost effective and streamlined process to an adjudicated result.

Michael Silver's arbitrations are independent, relatively informal and focussed on the issues at hand. The process and decision making are fair and conducted in an open and congenial atmosphere.

Michael Silver makes himself available for the airing of preliminary issues. He suggests the concept of settlement but once having commenced as arbitrator, does not involve himself in settlement discussions.

His reasons for decision are cogent, well written and readable and applicable to the salient issues.

If requested, he will do Med-Arbs and utilizes an effective process to avoid any contamination of the arbitration by having first mediated.
